Corrections Policy

theTailed Newsroom welcomes specific, evidence-based correction requests.

How to report an error

Email store@thetailed.com with the article title or URL, the information you believe is wrong and, where possible, a reliable source supporting the correction.

What happens next

The editorial desk will review the published wording, the sources used and any new evidence. We may contact a relevant source or organisation where clarification is necessary.

How corrections appear

If a material factual error is confirmed, we will correct the article and add a visible correction or update note explaining what changed. We do not silently rewrite a material claim. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or link repairs may be made without a formal correction note when they do not change the meaning.

Developing stories

A developing story may be updated as authoritative information emerges. Meaningful additions or changes should be recorded with a visible update note and an accurate modified date; the original publication date remains unchanged.

For our wider approach, read the Editorial Standards.
